Have you ever wanted to get in shape but at the same time would rather sit on the couch with a bag of potato chips watching your favorite television show? Have you ever wanted to boost your sales career but find yourself thinking only of weekends and vacations? If your answer to either of these questions was "yes" then you have incongruency in your life.
But don't worry, we all probably have some incongruency in our lives.
What we have to do is make sure we are congruent where it really counts.
We can do this by taking another look at our sales goals.
What are your sales goals? What do you have to do to accomplish them? Where (if any) do you have incongruencies which are holding you back? The answers to these questions will help you stay on track and sprinting towards the finish line of your sales goals.
One area that we must always stay congruent is with our values.
Incongruency with our values creates inner confusion and conflict.
It also frustrates and confuses our prospects.
If we are not consistent, then our prospects won't trust us.
And let me be blunt, if they don't trust you they won't buy from you.
However, when a sales champion is congruent then trust and comfort is built.
The prospect knows what to expect.
They know they can count on you.
We all like consistency.
Prospects are no exception.
So, let's commit ourselves to being more congruent and consistent and before we know it, we will be in victory lane.
